Book Review: Evidence Not Seen

Evidence Not Seen, is the story of Darlene Deibler Rose. She was a newlywed, missionary New Guinea when suddenly her life new life was torn away by the events of WW11. She was told she would never see her husband again, and lived in a Japanese prison camp for 4 long years.  Through it all, God proves himself faithful even though it's not always visible, there is always Evidence Not Seen.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Her story is such a testimony of God's unfailing love and care for his children even through the darkest times of life. Even though she was told her husband was dead, forced to sign a false confession, and eventually face the executioner's sword, she never once gave up her faith in God. (Little did she know that she would be miraculously spared, and bring the truth of God's word to many who had never heard.)
In reading this book, you will laugh, you will cry, and you will find your faith and trust  in God and His word  strengthened by her true life story.  Definitely a book I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

  1. Her story is amazing, isn't it? We actually had a video of her telling her story. It was incredible to listen to her tell it.

Glad you got another book review up. I've enjoyed them. :)
