A verse and song for the weekend

Psalm 23 1-3
1. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2. he maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  3.He restoreth my soul :  He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake.

O to be like thee. . .

Hey y'all! SO sorry I haven't posted much lately. We've been crazy busy and we have guests coming this weekend so it's been even busier. I hope you all are doing well :)

I love the song,'O to be like thee, especially the second verse:
Oh to be like thee! Full of compassion, loving, forgiving, tender and kind, helping the helpless, cheering the fainting, seeking the wandering sinner to find. Oh to be like thee! Oh to be like thee, Blessed Redeemer, pure as thou art! Come in thy sweetness, come in thy fullness; Stamp thine own image deep on my heart.

It can be so hard with the busyness of life to not be patient with my siblings, to be easily upset/offended, and to get so busy that I brush them aside when they come to me with their questions. I need to be more patient, more kind, willing to spend my time helping others with their needs, and allow God to take care of the rest.

A song and verse for the weekend.

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up on wings of eagles. They will run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.

I love the words to this song!

A verse and song for the weekend

Sorry y'all! Got this posted a little late this week...but, hey better late then never, right??? Enjoy!

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
I love the acapella version of this song!
