Psalm 103:13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
"A tribute to Daddy"
A daddy is a person, that no one can replace
and if I ever need him, he come to me with haste
He is my friend, my loving guide,
And whenever I may need him, he’s right there by my side.
He helps me in the kitchen, I help him work out doors
he helps me with my problems, he’s the person I adore.
My daddy is not perfect, but he tries his very best
to teach us what is good and right, and we are very blest.
He loves us and protects us, with his tender care
He works hard to provide for us, he’s always just and fair.
If ever there’s a problem I just can’t solve alone,
I run to my daddy, and the love he’s always shone.
Yes, I love my daddy that God has given me on earth,
He loves me and cares for me, and no one else compares.
Yet I have another Daddy that loves me even more
And when I have a problem, His loving words are sure.
I’m thankful for Jesus and what he did for me,
He gave his life so that salvation I would see.
Yay! Happy Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem!
ReplyDeleteLove the poem, Jesseca! The last part goes perfectly with my dad's Father's Day sermon form yesterday. About earthly fathers and our Heavenly Father.
